The Ulster County Soil and Water Conservation District
is an "action" agency establishing conservation measures on
land that will affect our land and water base. The Soil and Water Conservation
District provides conservation planning and application on both private
and public lands with technical help and counsel to land owners in regard
to land use, engineering, construction and supervision on such things
as ponds, open ditches, tile drainage, preventing soil erosion and improving
water quality.
