Ulster County Resolutions On-Line

Majority Leader Michael Stock is pleased to announce that proposed legislation for the April 8^th Session of the Legislature can now be examined on line at the County’s web site. According to Stock’s Majority Platform Address dated March 11, 2004; "We need to open County government. This can be accomplished via the Internet. I would like to see the agendas, resolutions, and minutes from our monthly meetings and our county newsletter posted on our website". In addition to proposed legislation, each month following the monthly session, the adopted resolution with a record of the vote detailing how each legislator voted will be available.

"We look forward to hearing from the public on issues prior to voting and this new site will provide this opportunity," stated Stock. A link can be found on the County’s home page (www.co.ulster.ny.us or directly (www.co.ulster.ny.us/resolutions.html). Majority Leader Stock also complimented the staff at the Ulster County Information Services Department for their prompt response in bringing this new tool to the county residents.
