OFFICE FOR THE AGING TO PRESENT

KEEPING SENIORS IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT

Legislator Alice Tipp, Chairman of the General Services/

Community Services Committee, and the Ulster County Office for the Aging will present a program on Thursday, April 22, 2004, at the Central Hudson Building on Route 28, Kingston, from 9:00 to 12:30 PM. The presentation will be a program designed for seniors 60 years and older outlining how to maintain and improve their driving skills. It will be sponsored by the Ulster County Office for the Aging and the Ulster Federal Credit Union.

If anyone is interested in learning how to maintain their driving independence, please sign up for this very informative panel discussion. Speakers will include personnel from local health, insurance and safety agencies. A question and answer period will follow the panel discussion.

Pre-registration is required and a continental breakfast will be provided. Registration is limited on a first come, first serve basis. Call 340-3456 to reserve a seat.
