"Marijuana: Weeding Out the Hype"

Ulster County’s Community Asset Builders and the Cornell Cooperative Extension are co-sponsoring a video-satellite broadcast on Thursday, February 28th, from 1:30 P.M. - 3:00 P.M., at the Cornell Cooperative Extension, located at 10 Westbrook Lane, Kingston.

This program will discuss and explore myths about marijuana and its use, as well as the role pop culture plays in influencing those myths.

Community Asset Builders (CAB) is a countywide, multi-year planning initiative working to foster the development of healthier communities for all youth and families in Ulster County. CAB is committed to bringing valuable information to Ulster County as part of its efforts to strengthen youth, families, and communities.

The satellite presentation is for prevention and treatment providers, educators, concerned parents, care givers and others interested in the subject. Anyone interested in attending the satellite conference should call Betsy at (845) 339-7866 by Wednesday, February 27th.
