and reporting the financial condition of the County within the
guidelines set forth by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. It is
further responsible for the enforcement and collection of delinquent
property and school taxes in accordance with Real Property Tax Law. The
Department also invests County funds securely, while maximizing
interest earnings.
